Caroline Kay
Integrative Counsellor (MBACP)
About me
Before setting up in private practice I worked for a Women’s Centre in London offering long-term, low-cost counselling covering a range of issues including, anxiety, depression, work problems, gender and sexuality exploration, low self-esteem, body image issues, childhood trauma and various neurodiverse conditions such as Dyslexia, ADHD and ASD.
This work, together with my own journey into therapy and becoming a counsellor led me to setting up in private practice in order to offer a safe, confidential space so that no matter what problems you find yourself facing right now, whether neurodiverse or not, I can adapt my ways of working to accommodate what it is that you need.
How I work with clients
My work is relational, it is the therapeutic relationship that develops between us, the uniqueness of each of us that is the basis for our exploration into your emotional world, an emergent collaborative process between you and I that creates a truly unique relationship focused on you.

As an integrative therapist I am able to draw from several different counselling theories to create a bespoke, tailor-made counselling journey for every client. I offer both short term (usually up to 16 sessions) and long term, open ended counselling. It may be that how long we work together will only emerge once we have started. I am guided by you - you are the expert in you.

Sessions are weekly at the same time/day for a 50 minute session which is £50.00. I work at Kingswood Practice on Mondays and currently have spaces available.
