Dr Michelle Gregory
Clinical Psychologist (DClinPsy)
I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years experience working in the NHS and I have been working in private practice since 2021. My area of expertise is working with adults and teeenagers with Functional Neurological Disorder and Long Covid. In my NHS practice I lead the Sussex wide Long Covid Service Psychology Pathway. I also have significant experience working with people with long term health conditions and health anxiety and I also specialise in supporting neurodiverse people with health conditions to live good lives. I have a deep understanding of neurodiversity and am a keen advocate of supporting people of all abilities to have accessible healthcare.
How I work with clients
My style is gentle, authentic and compassionate. Due to the depth and breadth of my training, it is my job to help you feel safe and to provide an intervention approach that suits you. I also aim to be flexible and adapt to your needs and am a firm believer that we cannot separate out the mind, body and brain. I believe that giving people good quality information about why their bodies and minds respond the way they do under times of stress and distress can be deeply validating. If at any point I think I am not the best psychologist for you, I will be open and transparent with you and provide a recommendation to a colleague that I know and trust.
